Things purchased for the motorhome and never use .

Two reflective emergency triangles that have now to be replaced with V16 approved flashing lights in Spain.😫
Not withstanding the fact our motorhome has got a non metallic roof, how are you supposed to get up there?

Some time ago someone asked what the most useful accessory you ever bought was - our answer was our Quest Screen house! We love it and plan to buy another when this one conks out.
Minxy girl has one for sale

A lightweight porch awning to fit to the Fiamma casing. Bought in September 2018 and never used. The bag hasn’t been opened, even to test it. Might be a retirement home for moths by now.

Hello Minxy Girl
Are you going to sell it?
Is it a 4 or the 4 pro?
Does it have side panels if the 4 , and are they the Velcro attached ones?
Or if the 4 pro, the zipped attached side panels?
Might be interested if you are disposing.
😊👍
I'll check when I get home as I can't even remember what colour the ruddy thing is. 😊

I think the only thing we haven't (yet) used is the pop-up washing line - but that's only because we've not had the chance to go away for a proper holiday since we bought it  I'm really trying to think if there's anything else we are carrying about and haven't used, but I don't think there is.

Oh I just remembered....the Fiamma wheel grip mats! We haven't used them, but we did lend them to a lady who got stuck in the snow in Oxford a few years ago and they worked well enough for her to get off her pitch onto the roadway so I decided to keep them on board just in case (y)

Cadac, what a waste of £120! Cleaning it used to take hours and the non stick just didn’t work, never worked out which bit to use for what and it literally fell apart when I tried to use it.

Made even worse by the fact we turned veggie, I mean what’s the point. 🤷‍♂️🤦🏼
I agree with that, gave mine away to friends but I still get the benefit when they cook

A Mister D Cook pot that I've had about 4 years, never used and a Jormax windbreak though I suspect that will be needed next week at Highlands End!

Honda 2kw Genny, inflatable canoe, Thule awning end panels. I’m sure there’s more hiding in the garden shed 😡😡

They are selling for daft money now apparently so I don’t think you will lose money.
Oh just seen Captain Yoghurtpot ’s post!

We have a Cornish windbreak that we were definitely going to sell or cut up as we’ve had it years and only used it about 3 or 4 times. It’s a 7 metre one and is just too big. We took it to Cornwall just in case 3 weeks ago and flip me we used it all week! The weather was sunny but very windy and it was a cold wind off the Atlantic. We walked or cycled every day but then sat for the afternoon/evening in shelter. It’s hard work hammering it in even with a metal hammer, we have to stand on a stool and take it in turns being short arses! We were all set to buy a Jormax at Malvern, just dithering about the size. Decisions, decisions....
I've got 2 Jormac, a 4 and a 5 pole. The 5 pole gets occasional use but the 4 pole very rare.

Breathalyser kit. Still in the van, really should remove it as it s probably out of date. I have a knife with an attachment for removing stones from horses shoes. Never used it for that.
Saw my breathalyser kit in the van last week, noticed that the expiry date was 2014!!!!!!

Two awnings - bought a blow up one when we first got the pvc - never used it! Sold that, & bought a lightweight one - never used that one either! It might be still in the loft, or we may have sold that too! 😀

Beach chairs. (No beaches now). A dozen water fittings (always use the same one). Windblocker used but got a lazy streak in me. Hamock, been everywhere used once 3 years ago, not enough convenient trees. Rotary clothes dryer ( falls over with clothes when windy). Finally removed permanently.

Gas ring kettle, gave it away after not using it for 6 years! Collapsible bucket, not used but still have this as it takes up no room. Both bought whilst waiting to collect our first van & thought they would be handy ☹️

We don’t have that problem. We just swill from the bottle. Less to wash up.

In response to OP, the most useless thing bought was a flat wind up hose. Bloody thing was a git to wind back up without kinking and trapping water, thereby not fitting on the reel. After one too many scraps with it on a French aire, I admitted defeat and bought a watering can.
Second item bought and never used was a watering can. My van has a whale connection which I had totally forgot about being a problem during the purchasing process 🤦
I bought one of those - it burst the first time I used it - bloody useless!

The 15t tow strap; quite frankly, I hope it remains unused too!! 😜
I was able to help someone out who was stuck with my tow strap. They had a Land Rover Discovery but only string to try and tow somebody out!

spare wheel and tyre. hope never to use either.😁 and roll up.hose, watering can means I can control my flow.🚰

Spare wingmirror glass, spare water pump, the Allo Allo complete box set, and a bottle of brown sauce which of course we will never use as it's only there in case
we meet up with uncouth Northerner's that we offer a bacon sarnie too or they have run out. :giggle:
Expect northerners have a better grip on grammar and spelling though.
