I carry on for about 5 minutes, then pull over if I am holding them up but....if I am travelling at the legal limit then I am a bit mean and stay put.

I never fail to be amazed on say the M42 with a 3 or 4 lane speed limit at 50 on overhead gantry the amount of people that want to overtake when I'm doing 50.

The fact that the variable speed limit is activated doesn’t remove the requirement to keep left.

Funny how how people prioritise which rules/laws they will adhere to and judge others who prioritise differently.

I nearly always pull over to let them pass, firstly I prefer to see the scenery wherever I am , secondly I don't want some idiot trying to pass me in frustration causing an accident.

Yeah, yeah - we kept at the same speed as a long queue of traffic and got done for exceeding the speed limit! the local authority must have made a bomb that day, there were at least 10 vehicles in the queue....

Nobody is saying that you should drive faster than you feel able. The whole point of the thread is about when possible allowing other drivers past rather than driving selfishly as some sort of mobile chicane.

If you have no consideration for other road users you should not be driving and you should return your licence. I certainly would not be boasting about it. If I was so inconsiderate I would keep it quiet.

As with most on here, I always pull over if possible to let following vehicles pass me. Not always easy to do quickly though.

I prefer to pull over rather than see some idiot behind me causing an accident by getting frustrated and attempting to pass at the wrong point.

Most of the time, us motorhomers are not in any rush anyway.
