All lights flash but if u move and unplug the thermostat it seams to reset and stop flashing for a few minutes then the panel flashes again .
Checked the output current from lead from back of ff and shows about 3.2 v but how can I check the thermostat it's self with the multimeters.
Could just buy a new one but I like would like to know for sure the old ones faulty first. any help would be appreciated.

Thanks 1967Bowesj. Just checked, no mine is clipped between the cooling fins (see photo). Is there a way of checking the thermostat using a multi meter ?

The issue I have is; when plugged into EHU everything is fine, the panel shows the EHU symbol lit green and the fridge starts cooling, as soon as I disconnect the EHU cable the panel switches to gas and providing the gas is turned on the fridge starts to cool. However if I turn the gas off and start the engine, instead of the panel switching to 12v and the battery symbol lighting, the panel continually switches between the 12v battery symbol and the gas symbol and I can here a distinct clicking sound which I think is coming from behind the panel.
If I manually change the panel to 12v battery symbol, the symbol continuously flashes and the clicking sounds is still coming from behind the panel.
I have checked the 20a fuse on the Nordelettronica fuse board with a multi meter and and the 20a which comes direct of the battery both are fine.
I fitted a brand new leisure battery only last week and having just checked that with multi meter it’s reading 13.44v so that’s okay.

Any ideas why it’s not working on 12v. Please
Thanks Derry

The clicking sound will be the 12v relay not making contact. If you ok with checking 12v then the relay should be at the rear of fridge somewhere. Pop off the external fridge vents and you should be able to hear it or even feel it vibrate. The 12v is triggered by a low current feed wire hence the relay.
