:eek::eek::eek:

My Hip is aching just looking at the picture.. Fantastic machine though... (y)
Wife always wanted me to have a Goldwing, told her it's easier for her to get a new bloke with a longer inside leg.. ;)

You need to try a KTM390. Cost nothing, weigh nothing, HUGE fun.

Wasn't someone selling one on here ?

YUK... Not my style at all.. :sick:

Saw a Van Van 200 when in Benidorm.. That may be more my style, new version not the old ones.

well I am still in need of a tow bar & a trailer, I have a quote & am going out to look at trailers on monday but I am rocking the Honda CB650F which has a sting its tail :dance2:

Brother in law had a blue one in the early 80s, lovely bike. (y)
At that time I had a blue Honda Gold Wing, my mates said what you got yourself an old mans bike for, ;) maybe we liked a bit of comfort, :) and when you think back and what we sold them for :eek: should have kept it. :LOL: Bob.

I sold my 1954 Sunbeam S7 in 2003 I really regret it now, I sold it for £1800 and it was in very good condition.

I will be on BMW1200 GS LC
Darrell will be on the same
Jay will be on a slightly earlier BMW 1200 GS

Looking at the list I will rethink the destination

@bigtwin - Honda MSX125 (or Ducati 999)
@gillnphil - Sym 200i hdx.
@Silver-Fox - CCM 650

How far do you guys feel comfortable going ?

Alright for us big boys but may well change my ride out bike to a little scoot to ensure I am on a level playing field so to speak

How far were you thinking?

I’m up for a ride but wouldn’t want to disrupt the enjoyment of you guys so could dip out if it was big miles.

Not a problem at all I shall find a venue worth a visit about your range :-)

30 miles round trip would be good. In your hands.
Phil
30 mile round trip will not get us much out of Thetford..

Here is what I have come up with

From the site, ride to Watton ( nice twisty road ), and then northeast to Route 11 Diner for coffee/ breaky what ever.. ( total about 28 miles )
After the stop on to Bressingham Steam museum ( 10 miles )
Spend a while there before returning to base. ( about 15 miles )

what say you guys ?

Sounds nice, I will decide at the time. I don’t want to cramp you real bikers style.
Phil
Dont worry about that Phil.. I shall lead and quite happy to stick to others pace :-)

That would work fine for me.

50 miles, I’d do that in my sleep! :D

Talking of which.........

I do not think I would put too much stock in what the 'expert' has to say ...Using the front brake on the loose ?? Not something I think I would be doing.
Mind you, if that is what they wanna consider off road riding it kinda sums it all up !
Gawd knows how they would get on riding the Yorkshire steps !
