Definitely not Marrakech as its sounding a bit iffy cos Brian says they're freezing.

Get yourselves down to Marjane they do soup discounted for pensioners :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

Marakesh, damp and FFFffffffffffing freezing. Dark and threatening.

There is snow forecast for Agadir on Tuesday, I kid not.

We might be best staying put down in Zagora :Smile::Smile:

Cloudy start, fine sunny afternoon but cold.
"Tried" to snow a little this morning, nothing to write home about.
Just so you know what it's like at home.
(Near to your village.) :thumb:

God Brian what have you brought with you
Have you thought about Greece

Yup. I'm spreading large quantities over my body, I may just survive this way.

BBC is saying we head for Essaouira on Tue, so maybe you you don't go there.

Here in Tafraoute by the standards we have come to expect as normal, the day has been cooler about 18 deg. against the high 20's we have got used to, we have had some wind but that has died down, we had rain showers in the night but no rain in the day.

Brian, BBC is Essouria stands for 'Bernard's Bargain Corner', he has a stall on the weekly market :Rofl1:

Hazy sun here all day in Taroudant. Wind got up a bit and dust blowing all over so beer o clock got cancelled.

We are back in camping jardine , loads of room now ,

sun trying to get through the sand that is still in the air

it is calm now , warm 22c , i think the particles of sand will be falling for days :Eeek:

welcome to the desert :Rofl1::Rofl1:

Tafraout today

Much cooler today with the odd sunbeam later in the afternoon. No daytime rain to speak of :getmecoat:.

The outside temperature was so much below what has been experienced during the last two weeks and the reason for the beer o'clock and Petanque championship cancellation.

Forecast improving and back to normal by Wednesday

We have had that blown sand thing with the gales.
Not from a desert, though.
From those bloody fields on Scotter Bottom!

Bloody freezing here at taliouine and drizzle off and on. A bit of proper rain has washed some of the sand off the roof of the van so we can actually see out of the skylight now. And presumably the solar panels will be doing their job a bit more effectively.

The sky has cleared a bit now and not so much desert fall out on us now ,
been for a walk round town and been sat out side until 10.30 pm having a beer oclock,

it is now 20c out side and no wind ... lovely jubbly

It was 25c today but with a sandy haze , pleased we stayed down south, here in zagora ,

Report from Bob n Ellie who are still at m'hamid said it is very windy and sandy where they are ,,:Eeek:

Its cracking t'flags again at Zagora - 25C and increasing:Cool::Cool::Cool:

Judging by the mediocre weather reports I'm not feeling so bad that we've had to delay our trip over until late March.
Hopefully those of you who will be at the meet nr. Malaga can give us few tips when we meet up

We really need some sun now

48C - I think you need to move your thermometer out of the sun. :Rofl1:

Stopping over at Tagahzoute Beach for the night 6 o'clock and still hot, gorgeous if hairy ride over the mountains from Trafute to Agider.

Here in Somerset UK, it`s a nice clear day ,no rain or wind.

The temps shown are the best and the worst in the sun and in the shade ,
(to give people an idea of the varying temperatures over here ),

it is great to be able to choose , wether to be in or out of the sun and the heat ,:Rofl1:

The hottest so far, Tata just under 50c IN THE SUN ,seen on the goverment street temp sign,

M'hamid was similar ,

Out if interest, the humidity here in the south of morocco is only 20% :Eeek:

P.S. we have a weather station mounted on the rear of the van , showed minus 6c on the way down in central France ,

I understand now! Actual air temperatures for that region are reported as low twenties at best. Still a lot warmer than here!

Just North of Ouarzazate it has been beautiful today. 18C in the shade but really hot in the sun which has shone all day. Slight breeze, just enough to waft the washing on the line. We are surrounded by mountains which all have lovely white tops.
The site here has a swimming pool with sun loungers which have been fairly well occupied.

The sun has got his hat on hip hip hooray again today in Zagora. Breakfast on the patio :Rofl1:
