Hmmm

We may well come too - is it too late to join with you lot? Or will we just have to hide in the general corner? Also I assume the camping costs includes general show entry?

Not sure if Thur or Fri (don't mind paying for Thur though)

Unfortunatly if you have not booked on the the funsters area you have to go into the general area
But don,t let that stop you !!

Come on over and set a while, share a drink and a smile:BigGrin:

Entry to Funsters area can only be obtained with an official funsters pass
This = six cans of alcohol for general distribution:Rofl1:

Happy Funster Daze Ahead

We have decided to come as well for the first time. Will be coming after school on Friday. Understand that the booking has closed so will be in the general area. Hope we can come over and say hi to all as well.

We will be arriving Friday afternoon along with Denpar & Tankingtugger ther are 1st time ralliers
Yey, looking forward to Friday afternoon and our first funsters rally.

As Jack Bauer would say...

"I am in...."

Told the guy on the gate it had all been arranged by our Marshall and he just let me in... No paper check or anything... have a trailer will travel (through check points unseen!)

Whats the bobby more with water. Would it be best to arrive with a full tank or is there a water tap close by? Just trying to give the Mrs a heads up so she can choose the correct footware for the job:Rofl1:
cheers

Would you Adam and Eve it! there is a water tap pretty close by... depending on where you decide to park (and the length of your hose) (Resist Funsters... resist) you might to choose to fill up at an "on site" tap prior to your final parking... :thumb:

We will be in the general camping area as well. Arriving Saturday morning.
Keep an eye out for the Frankia with bunkbeds !!

Our allocated area is fit to burst, everyone wants to be parked with funsters. We were entertained royaly tonight by Alvin Stardust who was much better than anyone remembered him to be, then at midnight we were back to our double marquees for a bit of a sing song. Happy daze, goodnight all :thumb:

Saturday morning at Newbury and the sun is shining.
In the general area, best game is hunt the water tap.....
Seems a lot of vans here, just got to forget where the credit card is before entering the trade area.

Newbury 2011

We would also like to thank Chris & Liz for all their hard work marshalling this weekend. It was great & lovely to see what are now old friends & glad for that to be the case, & meeting new friends, who we hope to see again. It's so good for everybody to get together & enjoy the atmosphere of being part of such a great group of people.

Thank you also Bob & Sue, Bill & Shirley, Gary & Cath for a lovely evening last night.

As Clive turned 60 (say it quietly!) a few weeks ago, he has now turned over a new leaf & left his alter ego which jumps on chairs singing Sunshine Mountain firmly at home ( Well maybe for this time at least!)

Thank you all

Thanks you Chris and Liz for a fantastic few days, your hard work was rewarded by the number of happy, smiling funsters saying what a great meet it was.

Even your quiz team pulled their weight and did not let you down:thumb:

The only thing left to do is get Chris weened off that big instrument of his and start him playing with something smaller!!:Eeek:

Nice to see so many friends, both old and new; funster gatherings really bring a new dimension to motorhoming.:thumb:

What a great weekend - thanks everyone!
