We have been considering many layouts, but as the size of the bathroom is perhaps more important are we right in looking at end washroom types? One of us is rather portly and room to shower and to er you know, attend to the call of nature would be paramount.
Any thoughts?
Many thanks

@ CWH I'll reply a little later, off to work now. I'll try to PM you, but lets wait for the blood test results for antibodies first! Expect my reply soon

We are relatively new to the MH thing too and took a long time to find what was, for us, the ideal layout. Our Dethleffs has an end washroom, in fact technically it's probably a corner washroom. However, we think our painstaking research paid off (we stood in an awful lot of washrooms fully clothed) since we are very happy with the layout. When we are on good and well serviced sites we make use of the facilities that we are paying for but otherwise I wouldn't want to be without our very spacious washroom. Good luck.

Buy an Autotrail ci carioka, after a couple of months you'll find Callouses not only on your knees but also your forehead, where they have been pressed against the wall while on the loo.
Using the separate shower, keep a tight hold on the soap if your frame is an ounce over a Nakasaki Greyhound cause if you drop it and attempt to pick it up, you are stuck, your partner will need a tyre iron to free you before you can straighten up

Our last van, a Knaus, had a huge end wash room (full width of the van) hence no garage and everything stowed under the twin single bunks - great van but a bit of a pain lifting the bunks every time to retrieve BBQ, table, chairs hose etc.

Now have a Hymer ML-I 580 with huge garage and "reasonable" sized washroom :)
