The selfishness of some THS users

We are on a THS at Holt in Norfolk until Friday. Apparently there are record numbers here but there is still plenty of space. They are very picky about where you park here so there is plenty of space for all.

This THS is only £7.50 a night but some are expensive for what they are.

Easy solution: park 9m away from someone - no-one should fill in the gap and when someone parks 6m away from you, reduce the first gap to 7.5m!

I reckon that's what the first arrivals did.
Hard to judge from a photo but they seem to have parked so that no one could park in between.

I would guess that the price is often something to do with the location and demand to use it so who ever owns the land charge as much as the market will take.

Good job you aren't boating they actually tie you neighbours boat to the side of yours in some harbours and most marinas you only have a 3ft gap between you and the next boat.
Strange that it has to be 6m between campervans

Yep, breasting up is widely accepted on some pars of the cut, I really don't get this thread.

I thought that's what the generator is for! Just get it out and chain it to the bumper, no need to start it up. :)

So why post in it?

And I know all about the boating side of things - been there, done that!

Doesn't apply to us but most folks who live in towns, live joined up to the people nextdoor ,how's that work?

And I’m giving up on this thread. It seems as if a good few of you are of the same mentality as those I initially posted about. So I’ll leave you to it.

On the THS we have been on the marshals set us up on a peg, they were all at 6 metres . We been on quite a few, dearest was 14 quid with hook up that was Porth Beach in Newquay, we generally only pay around 8 or 9 quid a night (y) (y)(y)
