Can highly recommend the extra dongle from VanBitz (around £50 few years ago) for back up overcoming the non-starter - we have had to use this in areas where no mobile signal - just have to remember to change the battery every few years.Well that us stuffed at the moment. Just about to set off and the Metatrak app wont let me log in so cant switch off the non start. Their offices are shut as well.

Not sure if newer versions of their systems have this option though?
We have a Bluetooth option on our mobile if there is no 3/4/5g signal. Our problem was we couldnt log into the app. On either of our phones. Can highly recommend the extra dongle from VanBitz (around £50 few years ago) for back up overcoming the non-starter - we have had to use this in areas where no mobile signal - just have to remember to change the battery every few years.

I can't think anywhere could be more exotic than wyre piddleWe left just after 7 this morning so most of you were still tucked-in. I had to get back early for grandad duties.
What a lovely week. Thanks to all for making us feel welcome.
And a special thanks to our wonderful organisers for all their hard work and good cheer.
We will definitely try and win one of the places when it opens (and immediately closes!) next year. Also yes, we will follow up the Bakewell idea too.
Safe journey all, and we hope to see you again, maybe somewhere a little more exotic.
Philip and Cathy
