The Motorhome Season Finale

Thanks too from us to Jane, Bob, Sian and Jim.

Great show, didn't spend too much on more things we didn't need:Rofl1:

Great fun catching up with folks, though we didn't get round everyone, as usual, to much FUN to be had:BigGrin:

Bacon rolls great on Sunday and even better the bacon rationer eased up and I got more than one rasher this time:BigGrin::Rofl1:

yes, nothing can be added really. It was a real good mix with lovely peeps at the helm.
I'm sure a good time was had by all.
thank you

Looking forward to the next one.

Lets hope the Autumn/Winter seasons are not TOO quiet.

I guess a lot of us will make great use of this indian summer and be away again this coming weekend, so..... Enjoy xx

Andrea & Jeff

I demand a redraw..

I was told number 100 had a good chance as any of winning...

And it did`nt...

I was banking on winning...

Spose I will have to sell some of the rubbish I bought at the show, after all I am an OAP..:Rofl1:

PS. well done on a superb meet.. :thumb:

It DID have as good a chance as any  better luck next time. If you happen to have bought a Remoska I could take that off your hands in exchange for some silver. Yes, to those that saw the sign, I AM still after a deal on one! Jane

Sorry Jane I didnt buy one of them...

But I did buy a trolly and a table and a load of other stuff....

Oh yes Larry was working on a "Cadac" stand and managed to sell me one of them..:Wink::Rofl1:

Just out of curiosity..... What`s a Remoska ???????

Just out of curiosity..... What`s a Remoska ???????

A Remoska is a totally useless cooking gadget that for some inconceivable reason, I want :Rofl1: People buy them and never use them, some do not even get them out of the box they come in. Who cares that they are frugal with electricity and can cook just about anything. No one really. But if you want to know....http://www.lakeland.co.uk/2511/Standard-Remoska-Electric-Cooker?src=gpelc&gclid=CPfEpMj4wKsCFYUKfAodRkQ6tw
It will be a waste of your time though. Jane

Looking at it, is it not he same as a halogen cooker ?

We bought a small unit a couple of years ago.. Woman uses it so much we bought a bigger one at the show !

£10 won by JockandRita
That'll offset the cost of the two after market convex driving mirrors that we bought, one of which is so far out the "line of sight" as to be totally useless to the driver.
The passenger seat driver loves it though.

Cheers,

Jock.

Please could we have the answers to the quiz as I would like to know if my brain (and my friends brains) were working over the weekend.:Rofl1:

If possible how many we got right, it would be nice to know, thank you:thumb:

Hi John,
No, they are not the same though they do both cook. Firstly I prefer the Stalanist look of the Remoska to the Star Wars of the halogen cookers, I also just realised that you *own a Remoska (nice capital letter) rather than any old halogen cooker.
Remoska's use less electricity at any one moment (though probably the same amount overall) which would be handy on low power hook-ups. I know the halogen cook faster but I am not after fast food, I quite like the prepare, leave it to get on with it and then serve later I can then pretend the meal has been cooked for me and it tastes even nicer  Jane
*I do not yet own a Remoska

The only thing dodgy about Janes dodgy dip is the name. Every pound taken in is given back in prizes:thumb:

There were plenty of winners for both quizzes, the wordsearch (26 motorhome makes) and the bands/artists above. Winner of a years Subs went to Stan and Kath and Dingray won the Link Removed :thumb:

We got all the bands right, 26 on the word search, handed both in - and still didn't win :Laughing:

Won a tenner in Jane's dip!
What you got to moan about?
No satisfying some folk!

Good idea, Jane. It added nicely to the weekend, thanks.

Just make it more "dodgy" next time so moanin gits like Graham dont win, but nice folk like me, Jaws, Penelope, etc. do.
