Rally The Midsummer Motorhome Show

Has anyone lost this? Come and collect it outside my van. Absolutely disgusted this is the second lot of dog s**t that has had to be picked up this weekend on the Funster field, not belonging to any dogs of ours.
At least the culprit who left a pile of shit at the rear of our van had put it in a bag, I assume from the roadway ?

Some pics in Leamington today:

Guess where we are in the last one!?

Yuk. Stratford had lots of dog poo left too ... lazy owners pretending they didn't see what was going on .. makes my blood boil Shirley. Problem is you can't just leave it or you could tread into it when it's late. :(

I'm back home again, thank you to all the Marshals who sorted every one out. Good to meet every one again

Back home now ,many thanks to all the Marshall’s and Jim and Sian had a great time and fabulous weather well done all round Mike and Tina.

Good to meet a few of you on our flying visit to Stoneleigh today (Jim, Keith and your good ladies, whose names I didn't discover), Jim, Sian (y).

Our first trip out the day/night before in the new MoHo went well. I've already been doing some DIY on it to fit some mods that we'd done over the 9 years of use in the previous one (both AutoSleepers), or to add some things that would be considered basic on a modern MoHo (like a bin!!), but I'll start a thread on those (in the style of the Wombles' thread, which I've found very useful, and ideas from which have inspired things I've done to it already, in addition to mods of our own invention).

In the meantime, we bought some new crockery at Stoneleigh today (our old set was on its last legs and well overdue for replacement anyway, regardless of the change on MoHo, but I hadn't found any that I liked anywhere until today). We also got some feet for the steadies. Still have stuff on our shopping list though!

Thank you to Jim, Sian & the marshalling team for a fab rally - think Fun had the best location too (y) It was good to catch up with old Funster friends & meet some new ones too :hi5:
Loads of great entertainment in the rally field, during the daytime Show & evening so overall excellent value.
The Jive Aces were very professional & gave a very good performance with two guest artists:

They played to a packed house:

The Jets had a stand in guitar player as the original had his leg in plaster so played more rock n roll classics & only a couple of their original tracks as although good the guitarist hadn't had time to learn those :(
The Revolutionaires stole the Show for us & Mr Wombles doesn't even like rock n roll! The lead singer was recovering from a throat operation too :

Thank you to those who organised and marshalled the event, i had a really good time. Hopefully meet up with you all again soon. Mike

Yes of course, you can’t miss us, look out for the fun flags and the smell of fresh brewed Yorkshire Tea. (y)
Hi Jim,

Sorry we missed you guys. A grumbling appendix in a grumbling teenager kept us away.

I'll be keeping an eye on the the rallies and hope get us booked on some more soon.

Dave, Karen and the girls.

Could anyone who still has their Show "Goody Bag" please check & let us know if you had a Zunsport leaflet in yours? We didn't have one in either of our bags after having suggested it as a good way to launch these grilles (that Funsters helped to develop for motorhomes) & understand that they should have been in the bags.

Don't remember seeing one. Some bags were missing the main show guide! We had to get one at the information room. They apologised for the omission.
