Rally The Lincoln Show 2014

If anyone wants homemade jam please let me know. I will be taking some with me for sale.
 
We're booked
Had to faff about but got there in the end.
The bacon roll line should be spectacular !!!!!!

just to add to the masses, two more bookings. steevie [steve and ann] and woolsykejosh [pete and chris]. both RVs. If its getting cramped for space planning, we dont mind going to open area over by concert room, where they have had to put us before, and then join funsters for get togethers. cheers, steve
 
advice please, we are booked and have paid for Lincoln, one of the options was for entertainment

I did not know what to chose and opted not to take the entertainment

was this a mistake? will I now be Billy (or Billy + a cross Bev)

what do most do?

can we pay while there or are the number limited?

David, very few Funsters (if any) go to the main entertainment on the Saturday night. We all tend to stick with our own entertainment, which has been known to drown out the main act anyway. Just ask Joe Pasquale, if you don't believe me. ;)

You'll not be alone ,Looking at the acts for Saturday night I don't think we'll be missing much, well who wants to see a 70 year old singing my coo ca choo, and you'll hear the likes of chas and dave around any old car boot sale. We paid for it last year and it wasn't too bad but not something I would pay for again, and so slow getting served with drinks it was quicker to walk back to the van, the Friday night sounds ok , but I think people generally had a pretty good time of it in the Funster's area.

Last years we all went across to the entertainment tent on the Sunday mob-handed. We all had a really good time and didn't have to pay for the privilege. Plenty of photos on the thread for last year.

Don't worry - I know someone who will help you out. (y)

Jane won't be going to the entertainment & I won't be there for most of Sat evening - I have to nip off & call a few dances with the band. :( She will be delighted to assist.

I'm not bothered about missing out on the Warner's entertainment, but I am upset to be missing out on the Funster's version. (n)

I've still to work out how to break back in around midnight - at least I will be on foot. Will have to pretend I'd been walking the dog - & lost him.
 
Looking at the list we have a lot of musicians attending this year ,so we will not be short of entertainement , if every one did a few of their own favourites then we can keep the music going all weekend,
we can do it as a sing around / jamming session or use the mic,s and amps as there are a few of us with them now ,
i always encourage people to have a go and will suport and cajole anyone who wants to do bit , so get practising please ,
i reckon looking at the list we may manage a ceilidh band ...we even have our own caller .......
 
Looks like we will be the only ones going to watch the entertainment :whistle:

We also will not be going to entertainment more fun in funsters marque and good company.
 
Can you please take is off the list as we are unable to come now due to unforseen circumstances....

Don't organise this for Sat night then - unless you have another caller lined up. The band I'm calling with on Sat night is one of my regular two - I've got to shoot off to Welbourn for the evening. :crying: One of the band is picking me up from the gate & dropping me back after the gig. It's the mixed blessing of the Lincoln show being local.

Any other time though .... (y)

Yes - I just meant don't rely on me for anything on Sat night. I know you will all have a brilliant time & I know you will encourage everyone to have a go. I'm just sorry I'll miss that bit.

I'll be there the rest of the weekend & if we have a band & some willing victims, sorry dancers, then I'm very happy to call a few dances if there's a demand.
 
Hi. we arrive on Thursday. I booked and paid yesterday This is our first time in a group at at an event. Eroom
 
Club booking for this event has now closed. Of course you can still book to go to the show, but you will not now be able to book to pitch up with Motorhomefun.

Not sure what the final tally will be but we've certainly broken all records for this event and with good weather booked and guaranteed, we're in for a great time (y)

No - 110 people out of the 147 on the list have filled in the from.

It was a nudge to the other 37 to complete it.
