Jim I think others have asked too - what is happening to the Newark / St George bash? Is it happening this year in Newark? Or different date etc? Or are you forgetting it this year as it is sadly the last show at Peterborough?

Shame that. I have many happy memories of the speedway there in the 1970s. Another part of my youth gone.

yup it is a shame I suspect they couldn't run speedway there now as the houses are to close

Edited to say its when the night club closes and turns in to a old people home you know something is going wrong in this world
