The solar has let us down today only 2nd time in 6 weeks. Had to admit defeat at 6.30 and switched over to ehu. Wouldn't matter normally but Ann insists on the tv being on until the early hours

cyberyacht referring to the Spanish couple, I worked with a Kenyan for many years. He moved to England in his 30s from a high altitude. He used to save his holidays up for three years and take them all at once to visit his homeland. He said he preferred to do this as it took him weeks to acclimatise, exactly the same as it would take us he said. However, when we went to Spain for five weeks, we (those from cold climates) don’t seem to acclimatise and need coats.

Not been in for a few years, think it stopped trading permanently during lockdown because the building owners wanted the usual rent. But it's open again now, perhaps it's a different business now.

We’ve stayed on Villasol a few times and like it. I wouldn’t stay on LaTorretta because it seems dark but lots of people love it. Not going this year so can’t comment on how busy it is. If we go again we will stay on Villasol without a doubt. Posted on the wrong thread , never mind! Or maybe not.

Be careful out there. Covid is ripping through Benidorm at the minute, half the acts have come down with it and it's five times the national average. Some screens are back up in shops and takeaways. 3 dead in town this week, one apparently double jabbed
