The IKEA camperstop Murcia

On Park4night one of the reviews posted today says the police have moved on the long-stayers.

il y a de la place maintenant et cette aire a retrouvé sa fonction initiale’’

Shame as Murcia is a marvellous place. I lived for a short time not far from la Condominia stadium.

My now ex-wife lived there for a few years whilst teaching at the University.

.

problem is there is parking for about 500 vehicles on the approach to nueva Condiminia that no one apart from the odd lorry ever uses. It never ceases to amaze me that they aren't over there?

That's a good result...keep Aires and Camperstops for their intended purpose..give visitors who have travelled all day a place to overnight and move on....not spend the whole wintertime visiting Spain on the Cheap..👍😃🇪🇦 Part of the Video questions how weak the Law enforcement officials are....well it's taken a long time for them to act for sure....but at least they are acting now..👍🇪🇦😃

Was parked by a beach the other day there are signs forbidding motorhomes and we always moved somewhere else at night. 🙂
We went back for a second day, and obviously many had been there all night, and had become quite relaxed about camping. 🤔
We had a motorhome in front of us, probably Spanish hire going by the amount of photos being taken, Janie noticed the waste tap was open rather than her normal confrontation 😉 she just went and closed it. 😁
Within the hour the police came in, making them all put their chairs/tables and awnings away, had the dribbling continued we would probably all been moved. 😥
So many stupid and selfish idiot's, that only have to carry the chairs 30m onto the beach. 😎 Bob.

We have travelled the coast from La Herradura up to Aguilas since 13/3/23 and have camped on sites full of mainly German Motorhomes, which are now reducing in numbers and all sites have spaces now, but I’m amazed at the vast number of wild campers everywhere. Lots of signs prohibiting and police seen in the areas.

Personally it’s not for us and when we lived here I would not have welcomed them camping on the land near us.

Camping on tarmaced car parks in the centre of some of the villages in the Cabo de Gata nature park, don’t know what the residents think.

We stayed there for 2 nights this week. There were many people around us that had been there s good while.
I think the people that were moved on were the 7 French converted lorries
You could hardly call them motorhomes and each had an aggressive dog tied up outside. They were not parked in the aire but in the car park above because they wanted to be together. There were enough spaces in the aire for them to park separately.
There are a huge amount of spaces in the aire with disabled signs and the police fined one caravan that was parked there.

Anyone on the IKEA Murcia site at the moment? We are hoping to see some of the Easter processions and wondering if we will find space.

Was there Friday night, arrived about 7pm, quite a few spaces were available.
