The Dog Thread

Keira, relaxing after a walk through Roseisle Forest and the beach.
She was fast asleep a few minutes after this.

The latest addition to the family, totally exhausted after a car ride and a check up with the vet, then drinking her milk from a bowl.
Her name is Querida (Wanted ). She is a 25 day old Spanish Mastin. All being well she will grow to be enormous.
Please wish her a long and happy life.

My new puppy was born on a concrete floor and that's where she has spent her life til now.
She made several nearly successful escape bids from the cardboard box in which I transported her in my car to the vet, (very distracting )
So whilst at the vet for safety's sake I bought her a travelling box. My thinking being the car journey home would be safer, also I could safely leave her in the same room as my two older dogs. I bought her a box bigger than she currently needs, thinking that with luck it might last her six months.
Pah! When placed in the box she cries to break your (my) heart. When let out, she waddles to a bit of cold, laminate flooring (I don't have concrete floors in the house ) lays down on that and is asleep in moments.
Tough pups who'd have 'em? Me,any day.(y):D

This is Murph hanging out while I help myself to some Austrian pastries. She is 14.5yo and has travelled all over the world with me in various motorhomes - and on the back of bicycles. She's a little star!
Love the floral display on the handlebars :D

This was our first year at Chester with only one whippet, we had Blue pts just a couple of weeks after last year's event.:( Walking across the race course on Sunday evening we came across these two delightful 7 month old boys, Bert and Ernie, now we're wondering if it's time to get Sky another pal ?

Querida is 5 weeks old today, this morning she had a trip to the vet for a general anesthetic while the dew claws on her back legs were removed.
A very woozy little dog spent the rest of the day sleeping but woke sufficiently enough to eat her team and have a game of ball.

Many of us have a Motorhome so we can enjoy holidays with our dogs.

Let’s share photos of your pooch, funny stories and advice.

But what happens when your dog has to have a small op, and must not jump or run? You stay put and look after your dog. Lily has had a repair to a laxating knee-cap and it's 4 weeks rest. She is not happy with this, a s a 7 month old pup. She prefers to be in the driving seat (see pic)
