Intend coming on Friday night till Monday if thats ok. Cant find an attendance list or a fish and chip supper form so hope you have me down.

Hi , have now been informed that the portable oxygen machine we were waiting for will now not arrive till end of june, so with great regret, we must pull out of the bring/buy rally, wife and i was so looking forward to our first rally and to meet and make friends with you lovely people

Hi Chris, since you asked then I may as well try and explain.

Of course, like most of Cheshire we are under a swell of the worst storm since Cheshire was formed, it's horrible to say the least.

So as you can imagine we are busy re-doing plans as we go. I have spoken to Joe and he tells me the field is good despite the rain although we could do with a dry day at some point. AS many coming will be worried about the weather, try not to be. Most of the activities are inside so don't worry, and when it was really bad at the new year meet, as far as I am aware, there is no one left there now.

The plan basically is this,

Thursday arrivals will see nothing more than me installing my Battery to Battery charger, relaxing and enjoying Cheshire as well as watching the Marquee go up.

Friday night arrivals will get to enjoy some fish and chips if they have ordered it as well as coming over to the Marque to taste Nikki's new wave of cocktails introduce themselves and catch up with old friends. Some however, may like to go accross to the Pavilion and watch England take on France in euro 2012, once the game is over, then we may want to congregate in there as its warmer to listen to Jim singing songs about Sian. Some may wish to go and practice with Janine and play music and of course some may just want to cuddle up to their loved ones and do nothing
On Saturday as soon as a dry spell creeps in then people may want to sell their wares and others might like to mingle around and buy them

On Saturday night, we are really unsure of, we will be having an american supper, for those that don't know what that is, basically we all take a little food over to a designated place and then eat it, where that will be at present again is weather dependant.
Following which is the main event---

Yes, Your chance to join Nikki and I at our wedding anniversary party only this time we have, Dean Martin singing live in the Pavilion as a warm up for the main event, On the other stage located in the pub we have our very own funster band appearing live in concert for the first time to not only funsters but the general public, so Friday night best be the rehearsal :Rofl1:

Then it is the Main Main event,,,, All the way from Graceland USA (uther side of Alsager) singing live will be the one and only Elvis :Laughing:

There will be filming going on which hopefully the kind funster doing so will be allowing us a copy to host on the site to show what a funster meet is all about so make sure you dress up and get your make up right :Wink:
Of course, I would envisage getting everyone in the pavilion to be a difficult task so hopefully with the two venues, plus the Marque for those that might just want a chat we should be spread out a bit. Or to put it another way, if its wet we will be :Cool:

Come Sunday it will be Breakfast Butties and a walk to get them off (the butties that is) a shorter one this year though unless the weather again changes. Before the second main main main event.

Having stayed in a wet field in Peterborough, a wet field in Whitchurch and currently a wet field in Llangollen, all I can say is: wet field of Wrenbury, do your worst - I'll still be there! :BigGrin:

Only 4 more replies and I can actually start doing diagramms

Some people are asking me if they can have egg and chips or differing things to fish and chips instead. The reason for asking is just to know how much Fish joe needs to catch, I cant remember the price of the fish and chips but they are NOT included in your rally fee.

I can't wait, you make it sound better and better as each day passes!!:thumb: Can't wait to hear Jim seranading Sian, :cry: but the highlight has to be the RV pulling competition! Put me down for the team. Got mee Wellies and Waders at the ready. We shall not be moved. PS what about some Mud Wrestling?

Cotton Arms, Wrenbury. Cheshire. CW5 8HG.

As for Directions, The best advice I would give to anyone is to go to Nantwich and then go via Queens Drive. This way is much simpler for larger vechiles. If you are coming and the map says the pub is on your left, then you are coming a difficult way.

If you get lost, just ask for the Motorhome fun bring and buy meet and you will be fine :thumb:

Only 4 more replies and I can actually start doing diagramms

Some people are asking me if they can have egg and chips or differing things to fish and chips instead. The reason for asking is just to know how much Fish joe needs to catch, I cant remember the price of the fish and chips but they are NOT included in your rally fee.

Actually Phil, I have just got back froma 12 mile run and it is a corking hot day in Cheshire today, so maybe you never know, but we know what these water companies are like :Laughing:
