Hi fellow Fun-Motorhomers, following several months of arm-twisting, cajoling, finger-pointing, and mental bullying, the subject of a meet in the New Forest has reared it's head again.

The list above is purely those that expressed an interest in visiting the forest originally to bridge the dates of Old-Mo's Bagwell Farm meet and the famous Jez and Lin Dorset meet, which of course is no longer happening this year because of the Jez and Lin York meet. However I felt honour bound to make sure all of those who expressed an interest originally have now been notified.

To say some members have been disappointed would be an understatement, every meet I have been to it has been mentioned to me by someone or other.

It is our intention to hold a New Forest Autumn Rally over four days and three nights late in October.

The dates provisionally are arrive Friday 28th Oct and leave Monday 31st Oct 2016.

These dates do not conflict with any other scheduled meets as far as I can see from the Calendar.

The Forest is arguably at her best this time of year and the appeal of pictures like this is too tempting to resist.

The good news is this meet will most definitely go ahead but as before there will be NO EHU and you will need to be totally self contained for Water Closet amenities.

There will be fresh / drinking water available and an Elsan point for Black waste.

We have one or two ideas planned for a couple of those days but at this point we are only trying to gauge interest.

This IS NOT the rally booking thread, I will post the booking thread at a later date, so please confirm your desire to attend and we will attempt to raise the bar for the numbers of vans allowed on site.

At the moment it looks as if we might be limited to 20 vans maybe 25 at a push. The list above suggested 90 vans which quite honestly we will not be able to accommodate.

I keep mentioning “we”. We are Debs, PORKSTER and Popeye, and Debs has been the driving force.
