Thanks for allowing me to join.
Can I please ask. Thinking of buying a meter long American style RV.
Could I have problems finding sites to park on in the UK?
Is there a list of large RV friendly UK motorhome sites please?

What no-one seems to have told you yet is, you will probably also need a toad or another form of transport on the back. 😄

Certainly for the UK, the downsides outweigh the space IMHO. Perhaps a bit more marginal if most of your touring is to be in Europe. Plus as mentioned earlier, you'll need deep pockets to run the thing.

I had a similar thought. I carefully considered shipping my car and trailer over to the UK/EU but the more I thought about the challenges of the size, both width and length, the more I confirmed in my mind that I needed something smaller.

Before my current rig, I had a 10m motorhome with a 70 gallon tank. It cost almost £300 to fill up the first time, although most of my travels were during the Covid lockdowns and at least fuel was cheap at that time.

Great fun to drive a 10m though, I never knew just how easy they are to drive until I got behind the wheel.

I imagine that they are same as 7m and that the extra 3m just follows along for company. :giggle:
