The frying pans, saute pan & wok were non-stick too when we bought this set (for more cost) previously - the saucepans aren't non-stick but easy clean tough, polished stainless steel with great bases & work well.

Fantastic deal as it’s for induction hobs as well. We have a set, not quite as big. Replacement handles are about £25 alone! Not that other people would need to replace a handle of course but it’s hard not to overheat them with a wok.

Bugger, just bought a set for my daughter from an outlet centre for £149 which I thought was a good price.

Advised that the handles should be wiped only, they dont like being stuck in the washing up bowl.

Us neither but picked the ones we wanted, gave a couple away & sold the other unwanted bits which meant what we kept cost us very little

EDIT ah sorry you got the other ones, should have said "all kitcjhen stuff is made in China unless it costs a lot of £ and then it sometimes still is" send it back Jon one has to have standards.

You are right on both counts I think, any Tefal I have looked at has been China and dismissed.

I am indeed. I wasnt really expecting them to be made in Britain but think the use of the Union Jack and all the "proud british brand" stuff on products from China is surely not right. I'm seeing Chinese MGs with union jacks on and came across this a few weeks ago in Fatface
