Technophobe needs help - aaaarrrghhh!!!!

I have had a Dashcam since March 2024
Paired with DVPlayer on my laptop
Originally I simply turned on the Dashcam internet then opened the app, which gave me;
Live feed
Access to files on dashcam

But now
Same procedure after 1 year of not using the app

The app refuses to show anything at all, as if it is not connecting to the Dashcam internet.
Definitely got Dashcam internet on laptop
Reloaded the app two more times
Still nothing, the app doesn’t even ask me for an activation code like the first time

It’s driving me maaaaaaadddddddd!

DashWiser Dashcam.

Have updated Dashcam and downloaded latest version of the app, no joy.

Have downloaded VLC but my brain is now too addled to think about it anymore. Will try tomorrow.

Might well be the Dashcam A glimpse at ‘Trustpilot’ reveals a horrifying list of 1* complaints.
It did work fine hen I bought it, so might just be that it is now incompatible with the app(s)

I have an endoscope camera that attaches to my camera. fiver off temu. When I first got it no issues 2nd time I had to adjust something on my settings on my phone which i have just found to be OTG setting.

Unsure if there is a setting like that within your laptop

Edit Laptops generally don't have "OTG settings" in the same way mobile phones do. OTG (On-The-Go) functionality, which allows a device to act as a USB host and connect to other devices like flash drives or mice, is primarily a feature of mobile devices, not laptops. Laptops are already designed to act as USB hosts, so the concept of enabling it through settings is not typically present.
