Hmm, not sure about the dinette on the Burstner. I think I woukd sacrifice the garage for the first one.
Mind you my friend has the niesmann bischoff GL, which I think I like better. Good sized bathroom, garage and overcab double as well. LHD. 6.5m

I'll have to check out this polar steps place you have.... lol

Going for a pint of Watneys Red Barrel then?
I've no idea what that Is ...but I've spotted 3 Irish bars that sell Guinness so I might try a pint of that before Jackie flies home in a day or 2

Where abouts are you in Torremolinos Tam I'll call to visit you tomorrow I'm only up the road now,

I take it the V5 never arrived then....
No sign of it yet so it's best she flies back and spends a few weeks back home orders a new v5 and flies back out the day before we go to Morocco around 8th -10th Feb. Her other one might turn up here meanwhile and I can pick that up if need be otherwise she's out of time in a week . Although she will get shengen time back at the end of February so as long as she's in Morocco till after that she will get shengen days back to use for travelling home

Small vehicles only..... your 8.5 metre! 🤔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Hasta Mañana.... baby! Lol
See you around noon
I'll tell you whether the Guinness is the real deal or the shite we export.... 🇮🇪😂😂
Yeah the small vehicles only is a joke lol . They are all 7 metre plus . There's a few bigger than me too

Winding back a couple of days to that Saurer truck - rubbish website, but I love how this truck looks.

I checked his comments on fuel consumption and he was pleased when with some fettling it increased to 11 mpg!

Yep crazy ... that's why I don't understand why folk want them. A budget would go much further with a more sensible vehicle

In a way, 11mpg seems good to me.
I had a 2003 Audi RS6 that averaged 11mpg with my mostly town driving. A colleague got a brand new one in 2016, much more technologically advanced, the V8 only used 4 cylinders around town, bla bla bla, for the princely sum of £90,000 (£80,000 more than mine) he got 4 or 5 more MPG than me :ROFLMAO:
For a big old truck weighing 5+ tons as opposed to a car, seems good, but for long distance travel ........ No!

Tell me about it, I’ve got a German estate car that’s nearly as sensible, an Audi S6 ! Same engine as your colleagues RS, but not so highly tuned. Early 20’s, up to 30 on a run if I’m very good (which I’m usually not). Good for a 4 litre bi-turbo, but still a stupid car! One day I’ll grow up. Possibly.

I had a much older A6 with the 4.2V8 in before, but had it converted to LPG. I regret selling that one - still early 20’s but on fuel at half the price of diesel.

Aye in my stupid years I had 5.7 and 6.6 litre American motors that delivered around 8mpg

Nowadays I won't buy a car that gets less than 50mpg

Campers I'm a bit more forgiving but still not keen on getting less than 20mpg , this one feels heavy on diesel compared to previous vans I've had. But a camper that does 10/11 mpg no thanks

Yes, same at Torrevieja! Stopped now though. 👍
