Went for a walk along the beach....its long 5.5km from end to end but spotless and almost deserted...judging by the lack of hotels and only a few restaurants I don't think it's an overly tourist bit either which is nice.
I seen a 3 bedroom apartment here overlooking beach for 66000 euro ...that ain't bad innit.
Think I might go try tapas for my birthday tonight...

Apart from the walk it's been a lazy relaxing day ...just had some left over chorizo and tomato for lunch and sat outside watching the guys fishing ....im tempted to dig the rid out the garage but don't have no bait...might just try a bit of spinning

That said I've not seen anyone catch anything

Hi Tam, been following (stalking?) your posts for a while now, we are picking up our first motorhome next week and intend to more or less follow in your footsteps at the end of this summer (hoping we get one) so finding your posts really interesting.
Love seeing your photos (not so much the selfies lol) and can’t wait to see some of the sights.
Just really hoping you’ve had a great birthday and to let you know we share the day! Maybe not the year (I’m a baby boomer lol) but the day.

Yeah that's dave and marsha's vw gipsy...ots a lovely van inside is really nice and homely

Sadly it's got no brakes at the minute they have to wait till Monday till the local garage fixes it.

Well that was a lovely meal ....couldnt understand a word of the menu and as we had already hit the vino we just laughed through most of it.
We picked some special menu thing thinking you selected one starter one main etc
Only to discover they actually gave you all 3 starters , which consisted of a mediteranian salad , some cheese thing with ham and the really small white fish done in batter.
Main course of chicken and rabbit paella.
And a massive chocolate cheese cake
2 bottles of wine , coffee and a large shot of something alcoholic ...all for €20 a head

Can't complain and I'm stuffed now lol

It's been a great day .....im moving on tomorrow to an aire in the mountains then in to xativa for a day or two.

So time to say goodbye to dave and marsha but might bump in to them somewhere else as they are also here for a year in Spain and Portugal.

Knackered now lol
