Taking out a roof bed

We have considered taking the drop-down bed out of our N&B Arto(2003) which I think weighs 100kg.

If we did I would be a bit concerned about the effect it would have on weight distribution for the back axle, and also the effect it would have on steering.

I would certainly consult SVTech before doing it, and also N&B about getting it out through the hab door, as it is a mighty big lump being king-size.

We ordered ours without the front drop down bed. The cupboards are far more useful and the cab feels more spacious. I can stand up from the drivers seat.
