Eura Mobile 810HB our first Motorhome and it suits us just fine, looking forward to getting a trailer so that we can tow the little blue car with us.

Never seen a MH with a tag axle? :reel:
Neither have I, but I have seen a picture of what I think is the only European 'tag' ever built - the Hymer S750 on a rear-wheel drive Merc chassis (late 80s). Also, I believe some very large American RVs have tag axles.

Yep - that's one:).

Arto 74L had 6 years now, got a scooter hanging off the back, upgraded to 5500kg and run it almost on the max weight, only once had a problem when I reversed into an uneven pitch and the front left was about 100mm of the ground so therefore no traction but a few bricks and a plank of wood sorted that.

We have a tag axle. Having just changed from an ordinary four wheel vehicle I'd say its a lot more stable - both whilst travelling and while static.

Like ours we sold last year you mean? This is what you call a TAG axle, lifting too so no scrubbingView attachment 90122
Ooh, it's a smasher. I'd love to tour the USA in that (y) .....................................especially with the price of fuel being so low now. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

669 Kontiki 8.5 plus bikes or tow car. never had any traction problems, even on hard pack ice last year with the tow car i10 no slip at all.

I've had an old burstner, Winnebago Brave, Winnebago Chieften, A Dodge Ram towing a Nitrous trailer, VW crafter and even a converted 7.5 tonne lorry, The tag axle Eura Mobil has been hands down the best MH we have ever had. I won't be changing this one, so many good points and no bad, Never been stuck and includes Brands Hatch at the end of the season when others we're getting stuck around me.

Beautiful van you're obviously very pleased with it, we tried to buy an identical van a few years ago but the dealer was such a pain in the ass we eventually gave up. We parked next to one in Italy earlier this year still liked it. (y)(y)
