Swiss vignette prices !

He was correct, no fee required for non motorway journeys.
We tend to pass through Switzerland and use motorway tunnels so get a vingette at the border. Once we entered via France in the Alps, no border so just stopped at first fuel station to buy one.
If you arrive at a crossing with a border control colyboy , they will make sure you buy one before you proceed. Don’t worry about it.

That is of course for <3.5t.

For over 3.5t one needs the PSVA permit for all roads and for all days within Switzerland, but a 10 day one should cover journeys through and back through Switzerland if in transit. And it is valid for any 10 days in a year, plus I think, 1 month.

I didn’t want to complicate things for him as he said he is registered at 3.5t.

I was not criticising your post in any way, but some posters had already posted about some aspects of the >3.5t rules so I thought additional clarification was useful.

[I appreciated the 'beating heart' icon - I didn't know you cared ;)]

Um…. you posted the beating heart 🤔

I did not see it in my post, only on your quote. How the hell does one get an icon from typing on keys?

[Does that mean you don't love me?:cry::cry:]

Got this off the chap at the Swiss border, he see me pull in and never asked for any paperwork.
