Hi Gail I was about to book when I noticed GJH had booked so I'm washing my hair or changing the air in my tyres that week-end........sorry.

Seriously, love to join you all, if all goes according to plan we will have demolished half of our cottage and will be living out of the MoHo until the roof is on and security prevails once again.

There's a few folk on that list I'd like to meet in fact currently there are only a couple that I have met....

Newbie Advice

I have recently bought a motorhome after 20 years of boating. Our lifestyle has changed now that we have a school age child.

I would like to join the rally in Kent but wondered whether they are child friendly or not?

I have been surprised to see the number of Adults Only campsites around so don't want to turn up expecting to see families with children if that is not usually the case.

Being new to this site means I have no idea if any of those listed as attending have children.

People of all ages attend the rallys and motorhome shows.

I have not known a motorhomefun event where children have not been welcomed. Motorhome Shows are for all the family, children included. If there are lots of children on the fun site, they tend to get to know each other and sometimes the adults arrange games for them to play in the afternoon, but each show is different and this is the first time we will have been to this show.

I am not sure what you mean by child friendly. As an example lots of children go to the Malvern motorhome show also known as the Western Motorhome Show, children and adults dress up, there is entertainment and reinactments . Things like flying kites are not allowed near vehicles as if they hit one damage would be caused, the same with hard ball games.
