Suggestions for Portugal Sites Please

The north of Portugal is virtually empty of MH'ers and southern Spain has very low MH traffic. If it ever stops pissing down with rain it would be great.....hopefully next week!. I found all the aires and camp sites virtually empty. Heading South so sounds like that is about to change.

WE found a couple of good stopping place in Portugal if you don't need services, Monsaraz, an amazing old town on top of a hill with Templar castle, where motorhomes can park, with an amazing view across to the Spanish border and a lovely sunset . We went there after visiting the Herdade do Esporao vineyards at nearby Reguengos de Monsaraz where we had a superb 5 course lunch of Michelin standard for not much money!! And we bought some wine!

The other place was on the beach near Cascais, west of Lisbon on the N247. There is apparently a listed wild camp site which we never found but we just parked on the beach, next to the road.
