Sub-zero tonight

I’m leaving heating on 8 degrees left all the cupboards open (where the pipes run) and have emptied the waste and cracked all the taps off in the middle position with the pump off. Shud be ok🤞

Our Rayburn has packed up! Waiting on a rare part to be delivered to be fitted and it’s been damn cold! Dog crawled under the bed covers last night shivering and didn’t have the heart to kick it out (sleeps bottom of bed normally).

Why not move into your MH?

Yes, the gritter has just came by and gritted dry roads. 😡

As predicted, the birdbath is frozen solid. It took all of 10 minutes to drain down the van yesterday, so no worries about even lower temperatures forecast tonight. Refilling and clearing the air in the water system when we take advantage of Step 3 out of lockdown will only take me a little longer.

Each to their own way of looking after their MH. I was only saying what I decided to do, not advising everyone to do the same.
