Strepy boat lift

That image is 2 years old, if look at the bottom right of the image it gives you the date.
Yes they were chasing people during Covid but we were there in May 2022 and it was busy.

There a few different dates on the images June 2022 on the bridge, Sept 2020 at place hardat and if you follow it into town i took a pic from the opposite bank with a weird looking chair there and that ones july 2019.

Ladies and gentlemen, I think we can all safely agree that currently it IS open and available!

Hopefully further information will be added to this post over time as to whether it has stayed open and available as people visit!

All I can say is we are here now !! I will of course update this thread in the morning if things change, which I suspect they won't as we've now been joined by 3 Belgian campervans
Hi, does anyone have a recent experience of this area for an overnight stop. Was hoping to head there in a few days but some of the comments on search for sites infer that police move people on? If it is no longer allowed does anyone have any recommendations for an overnight stop close enough to visit the boat lifts?

P.s. Must update profile photo, we no longer have the rv! Only need parking for Peugeot boxer size camper.

We were there about 4 weeks ago and had no problems but that doesn't mean it's OK of course, we were talking to a lady moored in a boat and she was saying that the mayor wants to stop it and has had all the rubbish bins removed as a starter, I would rather they left it open and charged a fiver but there you go.
