Just looking
Hey all - buying a new Arapaho and wish to stop my plates / oven grill etc rattling when on the move

Custom made matts are expensive - any ideas / inside tricks what to use?

Can I for example buy large rolls of grip matt?

Put bulldog clips on the oven rack. This works a treat to stop that rattle (just remember to remove it if you use the oven)

Oven racks, trays, etc in large jiffy bags inside cupboard under oven
I have melamine plates,dishes,etc...no rattles, much less weight
Hardest rattle to sort in mine was in the fire where the optional 240v element was touching the gas heater housing, took some time to find and cure
Only noise now is the bathroom door which occasionally rattles on very rough roads

Cheap yoga mat cut to line cupboards draws and lockers.

Amazon product ASIN B09DQ8N7WZ
Another vote for yoga mats. They don't ruttle up like the cheaper cupboard liners. Regarding the grill pan - I keep it in a laptop case in a cupboard. I also keep wine bottles in socks (clean ones!).

Don’t bother with racks and the like they just waste space, our plates a stacked on top of each other with a disc of Grip mat between each one, cereal bowls don’t move with Grip mat under a stack of them, mugs have a bit of Grip mat wrapped around them them wedged into a space. Glasses are treated the same as mugs.
Not broken anything yet and no rattles either, in spite of everything being China and glass.
Cutlery drawer is silenced by putting a hand towel/T towel on top of cutlery.
Trays etc in the oven have Grip mat between them too..
The pots & pans have the commercial separators, shaped discs of felt like material, got cheap from France!

Most of the rattling in our charabang comes from Mrs Yoghurtpot, so not sure how to cure that one…………………..Safely!!!! 😂
I'd start by trying to remove your own post!

We got a Carthago, so nothing rattles . Well, apart from the over-cab dropdown bed, crashing down on your head whilst driving
