I've had discussions with people and then noticed a greater frequency of adverts for items being discussed. I am planning to have a conversation with people about a proposed holiday to Estonia or Norway soon ..... I wonder how long it will take for the ads to appear.

Maybe they have Google sponsored hearing aids ?

Tor those of you who are convinced that you are being 'listened to' why not do a test and talk about something that you have no wish to have and are unlikely to have talked about previously, even jokingly, and haven't ever done a search on a computer etc for, and see if you then get adverts for it ... go on, I'm sure you lot can think of something to talk 'b*llocks' about!

Andrea and I both have iPhones and iPads,neither were being used and we were just chatting.
I said to her “There is a new series on you may like “
On two occasions my iPhone lit up and said “Sorry I didn’t get that”.Siri,series I guess.
We both looked at each other in amazement,then I told her I leave my phone on the bedside table .
