Don't Miss This Steep Hill Lincoln

Like Larrynwin we never had a problem walking up a few years ago, different story now. I do remember having lunch in a small restaurant halfway up on the r/h side, we sat in the inglenook fireplace, good job it wasn't lit. And no Jim I can't add it to the list, it may not be there now and if it is I don't remember the name. :(

We didnt find getting to the top any problem and parking in the small car park in our smart car

I pushed my daughter up in her wheelchair, went to the castle and cathedral after recovering. on the way back found out there is a free disabled minibus, going up is just physical coming down is downright scary with a wheelchair, and it is cobbled, she laughed, I had a near underwear alert. must have burnt 2 gigawatts of calories and taken several years off my life coming down

I used to drive up the top part in the land-rover before the whole length was closed to traffic. Out of Clasketgate car park & straight up the hill.

Just up from the Pie Shop, on the other side, is a fantastic shop selling Teas and Coffee, Imperial Teas. Beautiful window and inside.

They are online as well! (Not a cafe!)

Haven't used it personally but there is a 24hr carpark at the Lawn that takes motorhomes as long as you can fit in the slot..
