Staycation Holidays in UK ideas.

It is looking likely that a lot of us maybe rethinking our travel plans eigher through choice or because of restrictions.
We all have local knowledge of our own areas so maybe we could exchange ideas for places to visit.
My area is North Wales I would always say check the weather that way you can get full advantage of the beautiful scenery in Snowdonia, walk the wonderful Costal Path around Anglesey and visit its many beautiful coves and beaches.
Take time around Llangollen with its canal and rich heritage its so worth popping into the library the rich history is there for you to discover.
Conway, Deganwy, Port Merrion,
and of course Barmouth and Shell Island.
It would be good to hear what your local area is like and where to visit.
The way things are going I think the only place you will be visiting or walking round will be your garden.

I can cope with that it is rather nice place to spend time.

I'm going to be heading to snowdonia around end of April. Are there many good flt spots around there or budget campsites you could recommend? I live in Brighton and it's a fun city surrounded by nice countryside but wouldn't really recommend it for a motorhome holiday.
I liked Bedgellert campsite ( camping in the woods) Showers very dated but I used my own so no problem. Steam train stops at the site. Had their own bakery too when I stayed there. Lovely walks.

Sorry late getting back, yes there is still quite a few areas in North Wales were you can wild camp
Right in the heart of the Snowdonia Range there are places you can park overnight and camp there is a good group on FB Vantastic Welsh Camping among others with good information for wild camping.
I would be guided by the weather if the weather is reasonable you will have an amazing holiday, if it gives lots of rain I'd find n alternative.
