enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
At €11.22 per night (at the moment ) plus EHU, it's not the cheapest but not over priced either.
It will hold up to 50, yes 50 of any size motorhomes on a tarmac surface.

But the real gem of this site is the location. It's adjacent to a large lake, that takes about 45 minutes to walk around on an even pathway. There are a couple of bars/restaurants within 5 mins of the Aire.

The lake itself has a very large sandy beach and has kayak, pedalo and paddle board hire during the 'season'.

We haven't walked into the village itself yet, but might do in the morning.

Just been talking to the very nice Welsh couple with a very large RV and race trailer. Turns out there's a large 4x4 off road rally taking place over this weekend and the place will be full !!

Why do they park perpendicular to the parking bays?

Great location and have stayed there 5 yrs ago and forgot all about it
Thanks for the reminder

We didn't have to but I wanted a view of the lake from the windscreen. I assume when it gets busy then normal parking service will resume! The large RV and trailer were parked here when we arrived, the others arrived after us and seen to have had the same idea as I did. We will be leaving tomorrow so won't get into any discussions on parking etiquette with those arriving for the rally.

There is also a large car park adjacent with a 2m height restriction, which they've just removed, allowing any size unit for the weekend to park for free I assume.

PeterCarole29 - were you cycling here, it looks pretty good if you like hill climbs and scenery?

Yes we were with friends who were keen cyclists and yes some very steep hills we went up

We have stopped there for lunch when traveling, barriers were left up in the winter.
Have thought about stopping there and getting the paddleboard out but it's usually on the rush home.
