I’m going early November from Plymouth to St-Malo, only been there once for the day long time ago in non motorhoming days… any places to park over night..?

They have a park and ride free bus into town Garry. Bob.

I use search for sites or park 4 night. The pay versions are best and very affordable. To me the bible of touring in a motorhome. St Malo itself is well worth a visit for a day. Just across the river Rance Barrage is Dinan. There’s a great aire under the bridge for overnight camping so to visit Dinan a wonderful mediaeval town Don’t miss it out.

Or a bit further up towards St Cast, a bit like Deauville and no probs parking out of season, a dedicated motorhome park just off the front

Don't forget Tam Northernraider has been at Gary's for 2 months so they will have to be free stops.

& get a hotel for the night , really like to place

Others have covered the parking options. The old town “Intra Muros” itself is lovely, although pretty much all the streets are cobbled. I don’t think that there’s much accessibility to the ramparts in a chair, but there’s a fab promenade along above the very long curved beach just outside the old town walls, with plenty of cafes and restaurants along the way.

If you go further afield, as someone has already said, St Cast-le-Guildo has a marina where I believe parking is free. There’s a really lovely accessible promenade from the marina to the town that runs along under a small cliff just above the water, and the town itself is also pretty.

Think it was 21€ …that included ehu.. really close to the town but up a steepish hill
