Hi anyone been just booked 7 nights in august at camping La Forme Erromardie, just seeing things to do and see, cheers for any info

St Jean de Luz is a lovely harbour town. Lots of history and a main point on the Camino de Santiago de Compostella.

Don’t know how far the campsite is from the main town though?

Down by the old harbour/ sea front there is a small square with a bandstand as I recall. On the corner of one of the streets there is a bakery. It sells a local desert called, if my spelling is correct, Tarte de Basque. If you like sweet things then try it, it’s absolutely gorgeous. 😋

A bit further up the coast towards Biarritz there are big Atlantic rollers hitting the coast where you can watch the surfers from the Camino path if you like that sort of thing.

St Jean de Luz is lovely and very touristy. As you have 7 days try going to Biarritz, easy 20 minute train journey with plenty to see.

Bayonne isn’t too far away and worth a visit for the market, cafe/bar area, and the botanical gardens.
