Having tried (and failed) to push bushes out of some control arms on my old BMW I would advocate for replacing the whole part - as you say, labour will be the same.I kept lubricating my squeaking bushings. I used silicone and it seemed to work. But then it failed an MOT...from perished bushes. It was virtually the same price to replace the whole leaf set as just the bushings due to the labour. So I just switched the whole lot.
