Spluttering water

Hi all, at the weekend we were away in the motorhome. Full tank of water...comes through the bathroom and kitchen tap happily on cold. Move mixer over to hot and it's spluttering and making noise but not coming through! Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the boiler is not full it could be the vent valve.
What type of heating system do you have?

The vent valve is a tee piece on the side of the boiler at the top it has the hot water take off and a drain tube if there is water dripping out of the drain tube it is a problem with the valve.
Sometimes removing the valve and soaking in hot white vinigar will clear it, they are only about £10.

That happened to me ,turned out my frost protection valve had popped .The underlying problem was my ebl 99,sent it off for a full service.
