Spanish fuel, take note

Just got diesel at Merkaoil at Lezo on Ipintza Kalea at €1.549, only place you could get it a bit cheaper is at Al Kampo nearby but only if you have their credit card.

Search out those deals all you Spainiards,
but remember that the current subsidy doesn't yet extend beyond June 30.
I'd be surprised if they didn't propose something between now and then, but be ready for a steep rise just in case!!!

Popped into Repsol garage near us yesterday on my motor bike..., thought I would try the Waylet system since I've added a new card......every pump dry....loads of fuel at other stations, I paid 1.71€ per litre, for 95 Petrol.......

Just filled up car at Repsol.... I'm doing my bit to support the Spanish economic situation....1.71€ from Repsol using Waylet discount...that's 0.30€ off per litre....or a free Slab of San Miguel...using my calculator which has a personal satisfaction button....😃😃👍🇪🇦🙄💪

We travelled back through Spain two weeks ago and got discount at all our Repsol fill ups😊👍

Just topped up using Waylet at Repsol...0.30€ off per litre....the scheme is due to run until 30th June....however I expect it to be extended because we are going on our jollies...

Never had any problems with Cepsa 30 cent discount if you pay with a Mastercard.
Interesting....only thought 'Porque Tú Vuelves" customers were getting the 30 cent discount from Cepsa ...Thanks for that....

Amazing how you can get 30c a litre off in Spain yet we get err zero off 🤷‍♂️

Cepsa discount goes up to 45c l believe?
Long before this they had a scheme whereby if you obtained a cepsa card you got 10% off. If you applied for a cepsa credit card and used it to pay you got another 8%.
I believe that these are in addition to the gov.es discounts.

What you also have to remember is that many garages also start off anything between 10 &25c cheaper than another up the road before the discount is applied. One I use can be 15c cheaper.

If you buy in the store you get a coupon that you scan at the pump for the extra discount.

A fleeting glimpse driving past a Repsol stn coming out of Santander earlier looked like €1.97 don't need any for now poss in a couple of days.
Do they do a discount when using master (clarity) card at Repsol or what's the one to look for?
Tia👍

Yes they do , you get 25 cents discount whichever way you pay, remember that before you pay the pump price the will scan a code that then gives you the discount.
Mastercard May give you an extra 5 cents but you have to play the exchange rate they will give you against what you can get.
Also if paying for anything or get money from an ATM always ALWAYS REJECT the exchange rate shown, we with our cash card ( as used in the uk) with no other perks or costs, we get the market rate spot price. As shown on the BBC business page.

As said Repsol 25 or even 30c off in some places. As martin said download the 'waylet' app might give more.
Cepsa is flat 20 c but pay with any mastercard & discount gets bigger. You can also download a "virtual" 'Porque tu Vuelves' card app on to your phone for discount as well.

Cheers Richard I tried the
waylet app and then scrubbed it, but that was in the Uk so perhaps give them both a trial.

Sadly my compatriots - the increase in diesel has seen the 'my area of Catalunya' cheapest price rise to €1.98 - expect to see much more displayed on the boards - up to €2.20 I'm told. Haven't seen these numbers outside a petrol station since it was price per gallon back home many years ago.

This doesn't include the 20C discount currently applied, and which I believe will be extended - even so - it's a far cry from the €1:30 max we saw with the 2010-12 turndown.

Sadly I don't think I'll be ablel to travel as much this year as before as a result of the prices - and I'll be lecturing all on sharp acceleration and braking!

I'm on a prepagat mobile which frequently doesn't have any 'pagat' on it - don't use the phone really - save for hopping between wifi signals - I suppose you need to be connected to use that app?
.

Filled up my car today at eco combustible (near camping javea).

£1.50 a litre

It was £1.65 with discount at Cespa and £1.7 0 at Repsol
Gone well over the 2€ per litre near us in Murcia...
I've just noticed you are quoting pounds...I am aware that there are many Brits in Javea...but are you really allowed to pay with pounds...🤔😄😄😄😄👍🇪🇦
