It may be more Southerly but not a great deal further in miles I wouldn’t think?

About 750 miles to Tarifa from France/Spanish border on the Atlantic about 350 to Benicassim. BUSBY.

That was a December crossing. It also coincided with a freak snow storm across northern Spain. We expected the possibility of snow going over the Picos, but it continued all the way down to east of Madrid before it petered out. Mind you the police had it all under control, with all trucks removed from the motorway and snow plough gritters every 5 miles.

I would think a front wheel drive heavy motorhome in the snow would be an absolute nightmare with no brakes and no traction!
Worst driving moment I had in the past was in Basingstoke on the elevated part just before the M4 Junction in Sub-Zero temperatures in a BMW 530D Estate. Even at 5mph, no brakes, no steering, and no traction going downhill!
