Will someone please explain to me why the emergency flashers already built into every vehicle, don't count?.
Exactly what happened to me,What if someone rear ends you and your lights aren’t working, or your battery is knackered.
But then if they wish to be funny they can fine you for not being stopped as the minimum speed is 50% of the posted limit on most roadsBeing as they are not needed for foreign vans its not a problem. BUSBY..
What are you doing when we remove that?Hi Nigel...in the event of needing to attach the..I turn it on and placed it on my sat dish...either through an open roof light or pop up my ladder...
Jumar
Actually ,yes they do especially if you are on the autovia. They will park a 100m or so behind with all lights flashing & protect your vehicle ,hopefully, by moving traffic over. If in a seriously dangerous place they will move the vehicle .And what are the police going to do. Pop over and change a tyre, recover you. If I need the police I’d use my phone and call them.

Good illustration Peavy this is exactly how my car SOS system works...I push a button and I get a call through the in car telephone..asking what is needed..Of course if you really need the police, you call 112. This system is not designed to inform straight to the police, here's a diagram of how it should work:
