OK I know its not the Continent as we know it BUT.
Planning to go over the water in mid June Fishguard - Rosslare.
Any pointers about places to visit on the East coast and a visit to Cork is on the table too.
I believe that sites are a bit pricey there so any recommends appreciated
 
A must is Mizen Head, you can park at the head overnight, wilding it,and theres no light pollution. :thumb:
 
Nagles Camp Site at Doolin is a must. Lovely site beautiful situation. In tourist office in Donegal they told us we could stay overnight right at the end of the pier. The first car park is pay the end is free. They staff park there to avoid parking charges. !!! :Smile:

Btw it is correct, we found it expensive but that was a few years ago

It can appear expensive but you can wild camp and there are Irish Websites that will advise. We too are over there in June but going a bit further north on this trip.
Co Cork and the S.East is a good choice.
If you go to Ireland and expect the same weather as us then you should enjoy yourself
