Somewhere in or near New Forest

Hi - we are pretty much newbies and have had our MH for about 4 months now. We are loving going away for extended weekend trips. As the weather is still pretty nice we don't really want to close it up for winter yet. We would like to visit the New Forest for the weekend 3rd/4th/5th November. We would like somewhere pretty with at least a pub or two within walking distance and nice walks to go on with our dog. We would prefer somewhere that offers EHU. Quite a few places seem to close by the end of October. Any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks.

Setthorns has hook up but no wc's, good walks, and the Hare & Hounds in Sway does sensible food.

If you are a member of the caravan and motorhome club I'd recommend their Black Knowl site any day. You may have to ring to check if there's any available pitches though even if it's showing full online. Spent many happy holidays there over the years.

Beautiful walks/cycle routes direct from site.
Walk into Brockenhurst for shops/eateries/pubs/train station.

Thanks Deb's -yes we are members and I see it's open until Nov 13th although website says it's full on 4/11. I'll call them and see if it really is as the online bookings are often not up to date.
