Someone enlighten me....

It is still on the OP's subject of why/how is a tap positioned on a bourne, which happens to relate to cassettes.
I agree, I’ve found it fascinating. Its still on target , more a bourne thread with toilet in it than a toilet thread with bournes in it …
Toilet threads matter in a world full of poo

I haven't worried about that sort of thing since taking a drink of ice cold water from a stream whilst on exercises in the Brecon Beacons.
We followed the stream up the hill and found a dead sheep in it! Needless to say we felt a little light headed later but we got over it...
😂 similar thing but on exercises in Norway. Ours was a baby goat though, must have fallen in and drowned, it was still very limp so hadn’t been there long. Needless to say once cleaned up it just fitted into the no12 diesel cooker square stainless cooking tins! I bought one when I was demobbed and it still works, very handy at times.

My kids were swimming in a lovely river in West Devon, same thing dead sheep 200 yards upstream. They were fine, great immune systems, and I made light of it. Avoided the psychosomatic sickness 😷
Both water babies, I had to carry towels and a change of clothes in the car at all times!

Oh, come on Geoff, let me have my fun. I'm trying to cheer myself up while waiting to hear about my Monday night ferry booking with P&O......
