Some questions about EBikes

We have two ebikes foldable throttle control and pedal assist 750w motor
Throttle is handy on steep hills otherwise normal pedal assist range about twenty miles
Both of us being quite old and sensible don't make it obvious we are riding naughty bikes just steady and covert
In the scheme of things I think we pose low level crime to the police
They have transformed where we pitch up any pub/restaurant within that radius is doable and enjoyable
As the maximum power for a legal electric bike is 250Watt your 750 Watt bikes are illegal unless registered as an electric motorcycle with all the attendant number plate, insurance, helmet etc. If caught on the road you can be charged with using an unregistered motor vehicle on the road, no road fund licence, no insurance and probably no helmet. This will affect your driving licence and any future insurance renewal for car and motorhome. Imagine an accident where someone is seriously hurt. Without insurance this could cost you your home. Just not worth it.

My e-bikes both have throttles. They are legal in UK because they were purchased before 2016.

Edit: As stated in previous posts
I never researched beyond the sales site on AS so that's a bonus.
