Solo travellers meet, 10th April 2015, Lancashire

Hi been reading this and has reminded me that at the time I booked I spent a couple days ringing the site to speak with nigel. The lad who I always got eventually just took my booking and said he would pass on information. .....that might be the problem..
I'll pm you anyway carol but if it's a problem just let me know and I'll ring.. not at home but I'm sure the number is on the thread

Thanks folks. I have heard from a few of you with your surnames but not had a response from 4 others. I will give it until the end of the week and then pop in and speak with Nigel to see if we can get the numbers to match up.

I am definitely in.

I am in hospital on the 9th and been told I will need to stay in overnight so will come straight from the hospital on the tenth ... so may be bit tired ... will hopefully be there around tea time. Does the price include hook up.

Also, the week before will somebody remember to pm Jim and ask will he start a Rally thread in Media for Garstang Solo Travellers meet so we can put photos on please ... I may forget as have lot on and don't have a computer at Chester ...Many thanks. Joy :) :)

Hello, I’d really like to come to this meet, it sounds great ... just waiting to see if I can get the leak in my elderly MH fixed at the beginning of April. I’ll tick myself in as ‘maybe’ on the event & do hope to be there, but if not lucky this time hope to meet you all sometime soon.

Hope you can make it. If you can just book with the site direct and ask to be put beside the finsters.
 
This might sound a little cheeky, I guess it is...but mums feeling a little left out since she is now and then a solo traveller too....and our MH is a new toy to her.
Would anyone mind if she came along? She maybe just help make up numbers for a boat trip...who knows yet :)

More than pleased for your mum to join us. My sister and I usually holiday together but as we each have are own MH we consider ourselves 'solos'.

I just liked the post as indication it was good idea but better make it clear it's fine..

Will the boat be booked at the time or will it (or they if there's enough )have to be pre booked...

I would love to meet your mum. Don't think I want the boat trip though, thank you... struggling bit with cash at the moment but will love just seeing you all .... and can wave you off on your voyage. :)
 
Sandra, Bronte won't be able to join in the boat trip due to the dogs. I would prefer not to go if possible, again because I have a new dog and he is still very excitable!!! However if you need me to make up the numbers then I could leave him behind.

Hello everyone, & thanks for your welcoming message Irnbru - hopefully MH leak free & ready to go, so I've booked into the site & will confirm I'm coming on the event page. I too have a canine companion but from reading the posts I guess that's not a problem? Looking forward to meeting everyone -
