Don’t agree that parallel is always better than series. A Victron MPPT 75/15 has hysteresis ie turns on at a higher voltage than it turns off at, I had 3 panels in series which was taking until c11am on a full sun day but early in the year so low angle. Worked fine once it reached the high level but no output until then. Now in parallel and almost any sunlight starts the regulator so now output from dawn until dusk. Shade will affect this config but more than compensated for by the extra hours.
