There is a mobile fitter in Ipswich who's name evades me, leave it with me I'll try to dig his number out.

SAP in Doncaster are more well known for fitting levellers and air suspension but they do solar panels as well, they made a nice job of mine. The problem you are likely to experience is that all the best regarded installer's are booked up a long time in advance, so you may have to wait for an available slot.

Yes I'm realising this now, I was stupidly dreaming that I could just turn up and get booked in, been away for a couple of months and still in dreamworld obviously, back to reality next week, when home, ill call/email and get booked into their diary

We have a 100w panel on the roof, but it doesn’t give much in Winter, so I got a 100watt fold-up suitcase type one for £100
It came with an mppt controller fitted and all did was fit a plug on a wander lead, then wired a plug into the side of my van across my 2 Leasure batteries.
The advantage is that when we stop, I get it out, plug it in and keep moving the panel round to follow the sun @ 90 degrees
(best charge).
It produces about 3 times as much as the roof one.
A good option for Winter.
And Welcome to M/Fun.
👍
Mitch.
