Solar Panels for newbies...

We have 700 watts of solar and 2 x 100 amp Lithium. Having just done 90 days Portugal found that when parked up we had to use the genny (on an aire where they are allowed as no ehu) had to run for 1 hour a day to keep topped up. We are fair users of power but not use the inverter much but have a Dometic cx35 freezer hence the amps use. If not for the freezer we probably would have been close to ok staying put for 21 days. We are booked in next week to have 2 x 280 amp lithium but all the power has to come from somewhere. Also its not a good idea to mix different age batteries as the charge may be restricted by the oldest one.

Hmmm, hadn't thought about batteries of different ages.

They are both 2 years old with minimal use, so maybe sort a third one out soon. Do you think will work..?

We have a compressor fridge with a small freezer, guess they will use less juice..?
